Our unique cadetship programme provide a unique opportunity to see and visit a number of business to understand the career opportunities across industry that form part of a global supply chain. Each cadetship follows ‘the journey’ of an everyday object to help students see what’s involved, how the supply chain works and all the potential job opportunities involved.
Our unique and accredited Shipping Cadetship, sponsored by Trinity House, gives students the opportunity to visit a number of shipping and logistics related companies including PD Ports and Clipper Logistics, to develop an understanding of the global supply chain involved in getting a mobile phone onto super market shelves. The cadetship programmes help students understand and explore potential career paths into the shipping and logistics sector, and are suitable for those aiming to apply for apprenticeships or further study in a STEM subject such as science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
Our Automotive Cadetship gives students the opportunity to visit a number of automotive companies including AV Dawson, NIFCO, Nissan, and Simon Bailes, to develop an understanding of the global supply chain involved in manufacturing, sales and maintenance of a car. The cadetship helps students understand and explore potential career paths into the automotive, retail, mechanics and sales careers involved, and are suitable for those aiming to apply for apprenticeships or further study.
