Our Experience Works programme is a unique week long work experience programme for Year 10 students. The programme offers the chance to see, visit and experience a number of businesses across a range of sectors including law, finance, creative, digital, engineering, automotive and maritime.

Our Experience Works programme is a unique work week long experience programme for Year 10 students attending school within Tees Valley. The programme offers the chance to visit a number of businesses across sectors including law, finance, creative, digital, engineering, maritime and business.The programme provides a unique opportunity to see behind the scenes of a number of different businesses, gain invaluable work experience, build your personal skills and meet with business people.
As part of the work experience week students get to visit a number of businesses, 1 per day, to see what the business does, how it work, the job roles available and career routes into the industry. It is an invaluable experience to help explore various career paths including further study, apprenticeships and employment.
The work experience week fulfills Gatsby guidelines 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7 through the experiences which the programme includes and through the industry professionals that the students will interact with throughout the week.
