About High Tide Foundation:

We are an industry led charity which delivers life changing career experiences. We open young people’s eyes and minds to Tees Valley’s diverse career opportunities. We provide real life work experience which increases understanding, improves skills, raises confidence, and builds aspirations.

Since launching in 2012, High Tide has developed a number of highly successful and meaningful learning programmes, which include accredited Cadetships and Work Experience Weeks focusing on getting young people out of the classroom into industry across a range of sectors from automotive to animation and from media to manufacturing.

Our programmes are aligned with the Gatsby Benchmarks and reflective of the TVCA Careers Strategy to help directly inform young people of job opportunities and career information and we share the strategy’s aim of each child receiving seven direct and meaningful employer engagements.

The Foundation has three streams of members comprising education (local secondary schools and colleges) business (local businesses) and not for profit organisations (charities and community groups).
