Trustee Opportunities at High Tide

We would particularly welcome candidates with proven experience in charity finance, charity legal matters, or an understanding of the current education landscape for the unremunerated Trustee role(s) who are passionate about making a positive impact on young people’s career development and education. As a Trustee, you will work collaboratively with fellow Trustees and the Executive Team to guide the strategic direction of the Foundation, ensuring it continues to grow and deliver high-quality career experiences to students across Tees Valley.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic oversight and governance for the Foundation’s work, ensuring the charity operates in accordance with its mission and values
• Offer guidance on financial management, ensuring the Foundation maintains sound financial practices and sustainability
• Advise on educational trends, policies, and partnerships that will enhance the Foundation’s impact on career experiences for young people
• Contribute to the development of the Foundation’s long-term strategic plan
• Support fundraising efforts and contribute to maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, including schools, industry partners, and donors
• Attend Board meetings and contribute to discussions and decision-making processes
