This interactive programme will connect you with impressive local engineering leaders where you can discover the vast range of opportunities and the different pathways you can take!
You will take part in practical tasks to help you understand the different areas of engineering from Civil to Chemical and everything in between. Meaningful discussions and interactive activities will mean you leave the session with a true engineering mindset.
While each session is sector-focussed, our one-day insight virtual placements offer insightful interactions and an overview of industries in our region. This structured and engineering-led initiative is delivered entirely live and online, helping you to explore the world of work directly from the classroom. There’s a focus on discovering sectors and raising aspirations, with an emphasis on the varied roles in each industry.
Covering a range of different sectors including Business, Media, Law, Finance, Engineering, Maritime and Automotive, High Tide offers real-life insight into industries across the Tees Valley.
