Mark Easby, Chair of the High Tide Board of Trustees, said, “It’s been another busy and successful year for High Tide. We’re seeing so much excitement, growth, and optimism in Tees Valley, it’s critical we shout about this and let our schools and young people know there’s a world of opportunity right here for them.”
Lauren Bywater, General Manager of High Tide Foundation, added, “This year, we’ve increased the number of schools and students we’re working with and extended our network of businesses so we can continue to deliver more life-changing programmes. We’re excited to celebrate our 12th year and looking forward to planning our programme calendar, which we’ll launch in September.”
Our life-changing programmes are made possible by the generous support of our corporate partners, Casper Shipping, Jacksons Law Firm, and PD Ports. Their generous financial contributions play a pivotal role in sustaining our foundation, and their commitment enables us to consistently provide high-quality programmes that open up a world of opportunities for students.
In addition to our corporate partners, over 100 companies pledge their time, expertise, and resources to support the delivery of our programmes. These businesses engage with us in a variety of ways, from offering work experience placements and participating in career workshops to sharing career stories and industry insights. These include those that have taken part in this year’s programmes, including AV Dawson, Big Bite, Better, Elite Consult, Falck Engineering, FLOK Coworking Space, SembCorp, Svitzer, Teesworks, Tees Rivers Trust, and Wilton Engineering.
As we look forward to another year of transforming lives, we invite more businesses to join us. By partnering with High Tide, you can play a crucial role in shaping the futures of young people in Tees Valley.
