Active supports students with GCSE choices

Active Financial Planners have always had a passion about helping others achieve their career goals, whether that be career development with their own staff, welcoming young people into their office for exciting work experience or heading out into the community to visit schools and help prepare students for their futures.

Recently, the Nicholas Postgate Catholic Academy Trust (NPCAT) took a proactive step towards empowering young students with a better understanding of the different career pathways available to them. To achieve this objective, NPCAT organised an insightful and engaging career event spread across an entire week for 13-14 year old students, in which Active Financial Planners were quick to volunteer their support.

The primary aim of this event was to provide year 8 students with access to valuable information and knowledge regarding diverse career options available to them in various sectors. The event was planned keeping in mind the needs and expectations of students who were at a critical juncture in their academic journey. Active Financial Planners were instrumental in sharing their experiences, insights, and knowledge, which can help students make informed decisions about their future careers.

The Nicholas Postgate Catholic Academy Trust (NPCAT) organised the career events across three of their Tees Valley schools, which attracted an impressive turnout of over 350 students. The career events provided a perfect platform for students to interact with experts and gain invaluable insights into different sectors and how their academic interests and aptitudes can align with their career goals. Active Financial Planners was one of the prominent organisations that offered exceptional support to the event, sharing their expertise and knowledge to help students make informed decisions about their future career pathways.
